Programme update: 1-Step and 2-Step differ
FTMO’s current comparison distinguishes the 2-Step model, with a 5% daily limit and 10% static maximum loss, from 1-Step, with a 3% daily limit and 10% end-of-day trailing loss. The 1-Step model also has a 50% Best Day rule. FTMO describes these as simulated accounts; the displayed account size is not a cash balance you can withdraw.
