“Closed”, “programme ended” and “return announced” describe different events. Our 31 October 2026 review records three sourced developments while keeping the original company profiles and URLs available.
We use provider announcements for the statements below. A missing website alone does not establish bankruptcy, and a company’s description of refunds is not independent confirmation that every customer received money.
Seacrest: the prop business closed; distinguish it from the brokerage
In its help-centre update dated 27 February 2026, Seacrest says its prop trading business closed on 6 February 2026 and describes a shift towards CFD brokerage. That is a statement about the prop operation, not proof that the entire brokerage failed. The provider also makes claims about refunds; we have not audited individual settlements.
Provider source: Seacrest Prop Trading Programs. The historical My Funded FX profile now carries a dated note explaining the later Seacrest brand and programme closure. Its original text remains available.
Brand-history context: Finance Magnates reported the MyFundedFX to SeacrestFunded rebrand on 11 February 2025.
OANDA Prop Trader: the programme concluded
FTMO’s release dated 2 March 2026 announced that OANDA Prop Trader would conclude on 31 March 2026. It distinguishes OANDA’s ongoing brokerage services from FTMO’s prop business. Calling this a bankruptcy would misrepresent the cited announcement.

OANDA’s own launch release identifies OANDA Labs Trader as the former name of OANDA Prop Trader.
MyForexFunds: a future return is announced
MyForexFunds now announces a planned relaunch on 23 November 2026. At this review date it remains a future announcement, not our confirmation of an operational launch or individual account recovery.

How to interpret a status label
- Programme ended: a particular service stopped; other businesses under the group may continue.
- Closure announced: a provider states that operations are ending. Payment claims still need individual verification.
- Relaunch announced: a future plan has been published. Check again after the announced date.
- Historical closure record: an older directory classification; it is not a newly completed solvency investigation.
- Not recently verified: current operation has not been established in this review. It does not mean “safe” or “bankrupt”.
What we preserve and what we update
Profiles, original reviews, historical ratings, reader comments and indexed URLs stay in place. New status notes show their source and review date separately. This lets readers see why a historical review may no longer describe a currently purchasable programme.
Frequently asked questions
Is every firm in a closure archive legally bankrupt?
No. A directory label does not establish a legal insolvency finding. We distinguish service closures, announcements and unverified availability.
Can a current-looking website prove that a programme is open?
No. Check its dated announcement, applicable agreement and actual account availability. A marketing page can coexist with an older programme’s closure.
